From: Jeff Ratliff Sent: Monday, April 07, 2014 10:35 AM To: Todd Morley Cc: David Dickey; Lonnie Dunn Subject: New Hotel Todd: We did some additional research on that manhole and sewer line on the RaceTrac property that the new hotel wants to use. The easements are still in-place. We also dye-tested the system and it seems to be functioning properly. I have contacted the project engineer and given them the City’s approval to use the manhole and sewer line – they are free to place a line beneath SR A1A to the manhole. In addition, David gave his approval to begin upgrades on the City’s Lift Station No. 7 located at Thurm Blvd/West Central Blvd (the new hotel’s sewage will end up at this lift station). PWS will meet with the selected engineering firm this week to begin the process of upgrading the lift station as well as moving it to Manatee Park.
