HomeMy WebLinkAboutA1A EOOD Proposed CodeBarry:
Attached is the “clean” version of the A1A EOOD Zoning code which
incorporates all the recommended changes of the P&Z Board and Kate. The
only change that I was unsure about was in Section 110-687(1)a. (Line
818) where there was discussion back and forth as to whether or not to
keep the minimum depth at five (5) feet or increase it to eight (8)
feet. My notes do not indicate the final vote as I seem to recall that
they voted to make it 8 feet then they recalled the vote and voted for 5
feet. I am just not sure.
The only other change is the addition of definition for
“high-technology” which you wanted, to ensure that the definition
included the proposed uses of the USA building for light-manufacturing
and automotive repair related to the support of the space industry.
Suggested language:
High Technology: Clean industries and firms associated with light
manufacturing that use or produce advanced technology, especially in
electronics, and automotive parts repair associated with aerospace
equipment and vehicles.
