MICROFILMED _ 4-10-80 RESOLUTION BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City c of Cape Canaveral,. Florida, that: To permit reasonable protection for Public safety, it is [I] hereby required that tempered glass be utilized in all glass panels, tubs and/or shower enclosures. As an Option to the tempered glass requirement - the following will be accepted on Fixed or Sliding. Glass Panels, where a horizontal mullion is placed in side rail of door or panel not less than thirty (30) inches; nor more than thirty-six (36) inches from the finished floor, with Vinyl Glazing Bead separating the glass from t he billion Bar, and further that the lower sedtion of glass is tinted or obscure. The minimum width of bullion Bar shall be one (1) and seven-eighths (7/8) inches (1-7/8). The minimum thickness of all glass shall be not less than seven thirty-secondes(7/32") of an inch. FURTHER, be it resolved that this Resolution shall become effective as of September 1963.
