HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1963-23 0 0 MICROFILMED . . fin". ." •" " _____ RESOLUTION NO. 234-10-80 • •.' ..„ _....„, April 16, 1963 -. ..•., WHEREAS, the City of Capetanaveral City Hall has a meeting hall with a seating capacity of about 60 person, and WHEREAS, there is a lack of public meeting halls in the corporate limits of the City of Cape Canaveral, and WHEREAS, the primary purpose of the City of Cape Canaveral is to preserve [I) the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the city, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City of Cape Canaveral shall make its meeting hall in the City Hall available to local organizations under the following regulations: 1. City business shall have precedence over all other meetings. 2. Monthly meetings may be scheduled for six months in advance but organiz4- tions meeting at less than monthly intervals may be scheduled for only three months in advance . . ,.. 3. Priority for scheduling shall be on a first come, first serve basis except if an organization has had a previous continuing reservation, they shall have first priority. 4. Each organization shall have as a sponsor an alderman or mayor and this city official shall be responsible for the conduct of the organization while using the City Hall as well as the other details such as opening and closing of the city hall, scheduling, etc. 5. It shall not be mandatory that any alderman permit the use of the hall but rather it shall be at the alderman's discretion as to whether or not the particular organization should use city facilities. //////////////////////////////////////////////// : 9 _ ,
