I just want to ensure that we can complete the process and obtain either the permits or the City’s written commitment to issue the permits prior to Monday, February 16th, and next week is obviously our last chance to accomplish that. Toward that end, I would ask that you share with me in advance the proposed content of the letter you are considering which you feel would be “consistent with the Binding Development Plan”. If the Association cannot confirm by that date that the permits will be issued, it will then find itself in the position of having to terminate its agreement with Cumberland Farms and Mr. Baugher, in which case it will be objecting strenuously to the project at the Board of Adjustment meeting. I am in receipt of your letter regarding Cape Shores and the pending permits for the proposed fence and gate along So. Cape Shores Drive. I am working with City staff and the CCV Fire Department to ensure that all issues are addressed so that permits for the fence and gate can be issued in a timely manner. I have confirmed that Bob Baugher has met with John Cunningham and they have agreed to a course of action to address the Fire Department’s concerns.
