HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW Proposed Gas Station (2)Good Morning All, Please read the letter below. Thank you. Patsy From: CSaskie [mailto:csaskie@gmail.com] Sent: Thursday, January 29, 2015 9:26 AM To: David Dickey Subject: Proposed Gas Station Dear Mr. Dickey, I could not locate the email addresses for the members on the Adjustment Board, so I am addressing it to you. I was surprised to read in today's paper that a 14 pump gas station is going to be built in Cape Canaveral. Especially disturbing was the fact that one of the few remaining wooded areas in the city would be leveled. I've followed the city's vision plan of making and keeping Cape Canaveral a great place for residents and I just don't see how another gas station practically across the street from another gas station adds to that great residential vision. Then there's the fact that Cumberland Farms will have to get a waiver in order to build. To me this seems like the city government officials have decided to adopt the deceitful practices of all the politicians in Washington DC by telling there constituents one thing while doing the opposite. Please help Cape Canaveral stay on course with the vision statement that the residents of this city want and do what you can to block this gas station. Sincerely, Christina Saskiewicz Florida has a very broad public records law.
