Re: STP Expansion - Resident,Inspection
Dear Mr. Scott: .
In accordance with our previous discussions, we are submitting the following
proposal for resident inspection work in conjunction with the' treatment plant ' •
expansion. We propose to furnish resident inspection services (under the general
direction of a qualified project representative) to monitor the Contractor's
work for compliance with the plans and' specifications for the lump sum amount of
565,458, including travel and subsistence. Portions of the total inspection fee
will be billed on a monthly basis in proportion to the amount of work completed
as determined by the Contractor's montly payment requests.
The lump sum fee is based upon the Contractor's stated intent to complete the
' construction by April 30, 1983. If the project completion is delayed beyond that
time, ,such . that additional inspection costs 'must be incurred, Briley, Wild &
Associates, Inc. will be reimbursed for that time and expenses on an "actual
cost" basis as defined by our existing contract.
• This proposal may be accepted by executing below in the space provided and
returning a signed copy to us.
Very truly yours,
