A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING. THE RESULTS OF THE
SPECIAL REFERENDUM FERCTION OF MARCH 11, 1980;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cape

0 Canaveral, Florida, as follows: i
SECTION 1.. The City Council, accepts with approval the
certification of the, election returns as reported by the Election Board
as reported by the County Supervisor of Elections for the Special Referen-
:
diza Election of March 11, 1980. The City Council certifies as proper the

election returns. The total vote was as follows:
REFERENDUM ITEM #1 For the Referendum, 908 votes
(24 votes were absentee
ballots)
Against the Referendum, 91 votes
(1 vote was absentee ballot)
REFERENDUM ITEM #II Option A: 482 votes (14 votes were absentee
ballots)
Option B: 512 votes (11 votes were absentee
ballots)
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
