RESOLUTION NO. 79-56
A RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA,
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES OF THE ESTABLISH-
MENT OF AN INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTING PROCEDURE FOR
THE FUNDS TO BE USED IN THE CAPE CANAVERAL DUNE
CROSSOVER PROJECT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Canaveral Florida, and the State of Florida,
Department of Natural Resources have entered into an Agreement for funding
of the Cape Canaveral DUNE CROSSOVER PROJECT; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement provides for the release of State funds upon ,
receipt by the State of Florida,Department of Natural Resources of a Reso-
lution of the City Council of Cape Canaveral, Florida, evidencing the establish-
ment of independent accounting procedures for the project funds and the de-
posit of non-state funds to said account.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notice is hereby given to the State of Florida, Department
of Natural Resources of the establishment of independent accounting proce-
dures for funds allocated to the Cape Canaveral DUNE CROSSOVER PROJECT.
SECTION 2. All non-state funds allocated to the DUNE CROSSOVER
PROJECT required under the terms of the' proposal attached hereto and made
a part hereof by this reference, shall be deposited to said account for dis-
bursement in accordance with the accounting procedures established by Agree-
ment between the State of Florida,Department of Natural Resources and the
City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral Florida.
I [-] SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
