HomeMy WebLinkAboutConcerned Citizens For Cape Canaveral Inc - Traffic StudyTodd Morley and David Dickey,
I am following up on our conversation last week about obtaining some
public records about the proposed Gas Station. I have not received any
follow up emails or the public records that I had requested. The newer
site plan showing the 14 pumps has been around for a couple months, but
it has yet to make it into public records for this project. I can
formally submit and have all involved also formally submit a request for
that document if it makes it easier? We don't mind paying any fees
associated with having hard copies made.
The second and equally important and probably easier one of my requests
was the traffic study performed by Cumberland Farms that the city has
had for 10 days as of our conversation last week. Regardless of
length, this traffic issue is my greatest concern as a citizen and I
have requested this study be performed for the better part of 6 months.
Having it to evaluate and bring credit to, is very important.
4C's have contracted with the following respected and reputable company
to perform an analysis of the proposed access roads, A1A and the areas
of focus related to the proposed Gas Station. Unfortunately, due to the
City and Developer changing the approval process and placing the Tree
Removal permit last, we had to find out recently that this study needed
to be moved to a date that was sooner rather than later. Littlejohn's
information is below. The analysis will be done soon. We are
requesting that the City Council remove the proposed development from
the Planning and Zoning Board agenda for the 28th of Jan and allow
additional time to get the information correct and in a form that our
P/Z Board will understand best. The February meeting of the P/Z will
provide adequate time. Thank you for the consideration.
