HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1978-42 MICROFILMED 4-11-80 RESOLUTION NO. 78-42 A RESOLUTION ENDORSING CANDIDATE TO FLORIDA LEAGUE OF CIlaES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Cape Canaveral is requesting the endorsement of Agatha Doerer, President of the Brevard League of Municipalities, for the Second Vice President of the Florida League of Cities and WHEREAS, The Ninth Congressional District has never had an elected [1] representative as an officer of the.Florida League of Cities and WHEREAS, Agatha Doerer, has served four years as President of the Brevard League of Municipalities and two years as a Director of the Florida League of Cities. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cape Canaveral go on record as requesting; SECTION 1. The nominating committee of the Florida League of Cities to name Agatha Doerer, as its candidate for Second Vice President. SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, this 5 day of September, 1978.
