RESOLUTION NO. 78-38
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A MI?T AGE RATE .
FOR THE LEVY OF AD VALOREM TAXES FOR 1978 -
ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY LOCALE!) WITHIN
THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
[I/ City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Canaveral, Florida hereby
establishes and imposes a millage rate of 1.6 mills for the
retirement of bond indebtedness for Storm Drainage and .8 mills
for funding of the Recreation Complex, to be levied upon the 1978
tax assessment roll, for an ad valorem tax on all property located
within the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida. This ad valorem tax
:. levied hereby is to be used for the City's fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to provide
a certified copy of this Resolution to the Property Appraiser for.
Brevard County, Florida.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida this 5 day of September, 1978.
