I most often do not read the entire article, for each of the
forwarded items
of information that passes thru my email, being forwarded from
one person
to another. However in this attached series of e-mail from; and
reply’s to
Ray Osborne, I did. I am very concerned of the casual remarks
made in the
Wed. Oct. 22, 2014 @12:24 P.M. e-mail addressed to Alan Brech;
specifically
the section in the last sentence of his paragraph ‘’BTW: I have
to forward all
this e-mail to the City Clerk as it is official city historian
business. So be nice.”
This presents a concern to me, as I do not recall any City
Council action taken
to create this position of Official City Historian. I do recall
the event of Ray
volunteering to clip and save the articles about our City that
were published
in “ Florida Today Newspaper”; which former Mayor Ann Thrum had
volunteered
to do previously for many years, until changes in her health
prevented her from
continuing this task.
I am only one person on our City Council; but I have a real
Concern of any one
speaking and establishing City Council policy and procedures;
without Council
concurrence. May I ask this be an item for City Council
Discussion in the near
future. Rocky Randels, Mayor City of Cape Canaveral, Fl.

Angela and esteemed city officials,
Here's a recent email from me out to several organizations. As
you will notice we started talking about the historic marker again. It's
kinda like when you start talking about one thing you end up talking
about another thing too.
Now from your end. Did Mr. Baugher or Cumberland Farms comment
on anything recently? I saw he arrived late at the meeting yesterday so
I presume he discussed something regarding his project with somebody at
the city level. Did he say anything about allowing an archaeological
survey before they break ground?
I wish he and I could talk like we used to but he has got it in
his head that I
hate him and wish him bad. Quite the opposite, I respect him as
a savvy businessman and realize we just have a different perspective on
this issue.

No it is repairable, Alan. We needn't hash out the Fuller mound
marker situation as I think I have all the wording n
