Directors Report; 1, Brevnrd Soccer League will, have six teams in Cape Canaveral this year. They will build goals and line Polk Ave. field. 2. Recreation Complex door was damaged during break-in attempt. 3. Rena softball league in Cape Canaveral has 8 teams. 4. Summer recreation program will conclude with a puppet show at Capeoiom for parents and guests. 5. Backboard for tennis is complete and in use. No oherge is made for its use. 6. Board qoerried recreation director on city support of softball program and securing of facilities by softball league at completion oF each nights activities. Unfinished business: 1. Shuffleboard rates were approved as set by proposal I. Motion by Welton, second by Brogdon° Unanimous. Z. Tennis rates were approved as set by propoSaI I with non resident prime rote raised to S1~25. Motion by 8regdon, second by Biggs. Unanimous~ 3. Racquetball rates were approved as set by proposal I with non- resident prime rote raised, to `1^75. [lotion by Riggav second by Pressley. Unanimous. 4. Tournament foes were accepted as proposed. 8ragdun made the motion, Morrison seconded. Passed unanimously~ 5. All rates to be effective October 11 1980. New business: 1~ Quarterly budget was Discussion reviewed, all figures were found acceptable. proeoIoy indicated missing Little League cups were Found to have boon delivered to City Hall and subsequently not to Little League concession stand. Cups . are not needed since season has concluded, however Little League was holding a billing request. Bill was given to Recreation Director with instructions to return cups and have bill cancelled. Sandi Riggs indicated that she was submitting her resignation to Recreation Board. Carl Welton made motion to request City Council to move Bill Morrison from alternate member to a permanent member at next 000nciI meeting, Pressley seconded, motion carried. Riggs motioned to adjourn, seconded by Pressley.
