Minutes from the May meeting were not available.
DIRLCAT..IS RE?ORT:
Construction on the new racquetball courts is ahead of schedule. Presently,
only one of the old courts is open for use.
Work is now in progress on the tennis backboard.
Summer recreation program is now into it's second week. Since Capevicw is
not available on Fridays, the prograns are being held Monday through Thursday
fron 8:30 to 12:15. There are 39 children enrolled for the first session.
The new floor tile has been laid in the complex buildirg.
Council will review the recreation budget in August.
Concession stand at the ball park has been shut down except for the ice machine
which will be used by the Street Dept. Friaay.
New softball league games will begin on July 15th. About fourteen games will
be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays with three gores per night. The league
will consist of six to eight teams.
There is to be a modification on the racquetball courts' contract - an increase
of ,826.00.
Changes were made in the Parks and Playround.s proposed budget for Utilities;
and under Capitol Imorovements/Major Repairs (exhaust fan from 600.00 to 5::;200.00,
telephone from 300.00 to :3346.00). A change vas made in the Complex proposed
budget under Grounds Maint. and Repairs (300.00 increase to cover .cost of new
shrubs).

Mark Rhare submitted his resignation.
C. Welton moved, seconded by J. Nicholas, to recommend D. Bragdon be appointed
to permanent membership from alternate and W. Morrison be made lot alternatQ.
Motion approved unanimously.
Rec. Complex fee schedule changes were discussed and tabled until next meeting.
Midget football was discussed.
S. Butler moved, seconded by J. Nicholas, to adjourn the meeting.
