Vright Others Present; Jack Piccalo, Wally Homer, Pam Campbell, Billy ' iggins, George Studer, Mrs. Thurm. eeting called to order at 7.30 p.m. Hs .Hanson asked for board approval to ask Sandy Keane to take minutes at future meetings. New members were introduced with Mark Rhame voting in the absence of regular members. Mr. Mare motioned to have the reading of the minutes postponed to next meeting. Second by Sandy Butler. Carried. unanimously. Jack Piccalo introduced Billy Wiggins, the new groundskeeper, and Pam Camobell,who is program director, jack stated that 2 yds. of mulch are needed at a cost of S10-315 per yd. delivered from "Nlelbourne. Sandy Butler will check into a possible lower price from S. Cloud. Jack brought up the breakin at the Rec. Complex and the need for an alarm system, After a short discussion this was tabled until discussion period. Jack reported that a request had been made to have courts donated for use by the Renaissance House. This was also tabled until discussion time. Jack gave a report on the 2nd. annual Racketball and Handball Tournement. Racketball to take place on / Dec. 2,3,4. Hand ball the 2nd or 2rd week in Jan. Cost will be 315 per team. T-shirt, balls,sandwiches, trophies, and an. outside shower will be provided. ..;1,000 is the expected figure to be made before expenses. 7,xpenses will depend on possible help from Brevard Cty. Racketball Association and the Inner Tennis Shop. Jack brought up the need to check into pest control for mole crickets and destruction of the grass. This was tabled until discussion period. New Business Pam Campbell reported that as of 6-76 to 6-77, $3,558 was brought into the and that she made 065 as program director. Penassance House use of courts was discussed and the board agreed that the courts are for community use and sugested that they check with B.C.C. courts.
