There are plenty of fueling stations in the city limits. This will have several adverse effects on many different areas of the city's now small town feel. The removal of large sums of trees, many of which are native species. The storm water run off that will be laced with some percentage of gas and oil products that will impact our already troubled Banana River. The added dangers of traffic issues- not being able to turn left or right onto US1 because of the vehicles trying to turn into or exit the station The safety of pedestrians and bikes trying to cross the a 4 lane with the added congestion the station will bring The condominium residents will be forced to loose one of their entry-exit points because of the configuration of the stations driveways. Many of these residents are senior citizens and do not need this extra burden on them.Customers exiting from the North drive could possibly turn into the condominium complex causing extra traffic in a residential area. With the station being operational 24 hours a day,the day-light type lighting will diminish the quality of life for residents in the area. The noisy from fuel delivery, vendor trucks making early deliveries, the intercom system used to assist customers, and dumpsters being emptied will be a burden on residents. If this was being built this close to your home you would be against it too. After reading the Cape Canaveral Vision Statement, all of the above issues seem to be going in the wrong direction to achieve this goal. If this project is approved as is, this community will not be the same. This project will not be a positive, but a negative for the City and the Residents. Please consider the impact this will have on our residents, environment, and the Lagoon. Thank you for your time Steve Davis Sent from my iPad Florida has a very broad public records law.
