HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW Cumberland Farms (2)Team, FYI. dg From: Braga, Eric [mailto:Eric.Braga@marriott.com] Sent: Monday, August 18, 2014 10:17 AM To: Kim McIntire Cc: ucf@lightrealtyco.com; David Greene Subject: Cumberland Farms Importance: High Mr. Greene Good morning. I wanted to give you a heads up. We are having a meeting this evening at Cape Shores for local businesses and residents to meet and discuss the proposed gas station next to Sunseed. The meeting is at 7pm at the Cape Shores clubhouse. Our board, residents and owners will be present. We have requested other business leaders to attend as well. You are welcome to come state your case for or against. I have two questions for you: Who wants to live behind a gas station? Is the avg. price decrease over 10% or over 20% for our community when the 16 (32 with diesel) gas pumps start running at this operation? Pollution, traffic, poor water flow, destruction of all of the trees that are currently in that plot, quality of life, and the 10th gas station to be built in Cape Canaveral……. This is NOT the Highest and Best Use of this land and conflicts with our cities vision. The exit at Cape Shores south entrance is going to be a nightmare and a deadly environment. I have more questions, but will ask them when I see you. Are you on our side? We can develop a better plan for this small piece of land that does not conflict with our cities mission for controlled growth. Eric J.
