HomeMy WebLinkAboutRe I will call next week staffing too Re What's new Re FW Agenda Packet for 12-17-13 City Council MeetingThanks for clearing that up, Todd.
I'd like to be informed on when the tree permits go to city council or
P&Z. I guess I have to follow the correspondence in the agenda's of both
departments very carefully. Does it go to both boards , or one first?
Also is there a report on how well our native tree fund is doing we
worked a few months back? The newly written tree ordinance is in force
right?

Good Morning Ray,
We seem to be talking about two different things:
1. Responding to specific inquiries about current
development, and
2. Providing notification (beyond those notifications
required by City Code) to specific residents who may be interested in
possible development.
It is difficult and challenging at best for a City to provide
notification beyond what the code requires.
We run the risk of missing someone, forgetting something, etc.
and potential related legal struggles.
My correspondence with you since May 2014 has been strictly in
response to your inquiries (see attached).
In the interest of full and clear disclosure, the City provides
a weekly update. This contains information about many things including
development initiatives.
The weekly update is available on the City website at
www.cityofcapecanaveral.org.
Additionally, the City maintains a weekly update email
distribution list. If you or someone you know would like to be included
in the distribution list, please contact Kim McIntire at (321) 868-1220

The Cumberland Farms project has been included in several weekly
updates since it first appeared in the June 20, 2014 weekly update.
We do enjoy an open line of communication with all and we will
continue to maintain it.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of Staff if
you have questions about a specific upcoming development or other
initiative.
In this way we will continue to keep you informed.
Sincerely,
Todd
