HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE Cumberland Farms (3)Good morning Mr. Petty, Hope you had a nice weekend. As of today, there have been no City approvals related to the proposed Cumberland Farms project. Staff did meet with a company representative several weeks ago to hold a pre-application meeting where the project was discussed in general. In case you hadn’t heard, there were three Cape Shores residents in attendance who were very involved in the meeting. I have also spoken directly with the Condo Association legal representative, Mr. Catterton and the Association’s President, Mr. Toenjes regarding the project and its approval process. The next “touch” the City will have with this project is this Wednesday (6th) evening at 6:00 pm at the Public Library when the Community Appearance Board will consider an application for a Level 1 review which largely is an analysis of the project’s aesthetic qualities and its impact on the natural and built environment. This is a public meeting so I would encourage you to attend so you can hear first-hand what is being proposed and ask any questions. Let me know if you have any further questions.
