HomeMy WebLinkAboutPlease README Re Letters from Residents regarding the City plans Re Agenda for P&Z meeting on Aug 27thIt is too bad you are ignoring my request with this. So I will be exercising my rights and making public comments at Wednesday's P&Z meeting about this topic. I request a copy of the city visioning statement be put in the agenda package, as I will be referencing it in my comments. Here is the link. http://goo.gl/ZbQ5GL Please ensure that this request goes into public records under my comment entitled "Hometown government principles still abides in Cape Canaveral" I will be stopping by soon with a blank dvd and ask that Susan make an audio recording of the Board of Appearance meeting where this Cumberland project was the agenda item. See you soon. On Fri, Aug 22, 2014 at 10:55 AM, Ray Osborne <rko153@gmail.com> wrote: David you said, "Regarding your letter, it was not included in the agenda packet. Dave" That is a policy change as I have submitted letters in past for the P&Z and the Board of Adjustments. If this is your policy, I request this be brought before the city council to make a decision on. I've always understood it was a right of a citizen and a resident of the city to express his views in a letter to the city regarding issues they were concerned about. Thanks for the spreadsheet that you submitted, this is great information to have as we consider development proposals. As there are over 3,000 entries, has a map been produced that will aid in locating each of the specific sites? Regarding your letter, it was not included in the agenda packet. Thanks for the prompt reply, Mia. At previous meetings of P&Z , letters have been permitted to be submitted into an agenda package so that members of the committee have ample time to thoughtfully consider the issues being presented. So a precedent has been set. Has there been a policy change with the new city planner? If there is, can this change be placed as an agenda item for next week's meeting? As always, please consider this email as public record. He would decide whether or not to include a letter in the Packet. You may submit your letter at the meeting to Susan to become part of the record. The same would go for all Boards and City Council.
