C. Qolton explained that the appointment of D. Pressley as o
reguImr board member uoo not put on the council agenda in time
� or their last meeting but would be on their May 1 agenda.
DIRECTORS REPORT: Brevard County Fobile Health Unit will be at the
Recreation Complex the second' an-d fourth �Aodnesdoy of each month.
This will be an experimental location and will service people 60
years and older.
The Walt Pfirman plaoque has been mounted in front of the flag
pole at the ball park.
A timer has been installed on the lights at the basketball court..
Itis set to turn the lights off at 10 p.m.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Recreation Complex pluoque; tabled until next
meeting.
Tennis backboard: The board reviewed the budget and found that
�250 could be trmnsferod from the furniture and office equipment,
1�1100 from the special events accounts to cover the �425 needed for
-the backboard. Welton made a motion to recommend to council the
transfer of funds so e backboard could be built. Seconded by
MoilIeur, Motion passed 5-1 with Meilleur voting against.

1981 oapitnl pro^orts: The following are some ideas for next budget
year. 1) put some money in budget for Polk Ave. field to be set up
for s000e-f 2\ tear down the book stop on Polk Ave. and put up a
chain link back stop 3/1
put an outside meter Fountain at the complex
4\ repairs to the racquetball- courts such as extending the roof
and repairing screen and bracing.
RACQUETBALL ASSOCIATION COURT TIME REQUEST: The Cape Canaveral
R-�oguetbaIl Association requests courts for o tournament mhich
,jjould be hoIJ Friday, May 1"D thru Sunday, May 18. Motion to rent
th2 courts to the Association was made by Nicholas, seconded by
Uelton, pesye'J unanimously.
TENNIS ASSOCIATION COURT TIME REQUEST: Motion was made by Riggs
to rent then 3 courts Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1
for a tournament-:. Seconded by Meilleur, passed unanimously.
DISPASSION: Hanson asked the Little League representatives to
please make sure the bathrooms at the ballpark are locked
each night.
Pressley asked if Little League could knock the wall down in the
announcers booth, if they did it or paid to have it done, for
a meetino room. Welton said he would check to see what was up
there and where it could be stored.
Motion was made by Butler to adjourn. Seconded by Nicholas.
