HomeMy WebLinkAboutTown Hall meeting Survey of concerned citizens Re Citizen QuestionsDave,
I want to pick up where we left off in our discussion. You gave me
contact names of the people the city is contact with this matter. My two
points are that this is more than just about engaging Cape Shores
residents. Please see my survey of respondents locations. We have
residents on Holman Road and Sunseed Food Coop concerned about this
development. They should be in the dialogue for finding a solution too.
Secondly the city is engaging the engineering company in the dialogue
whereas my contacts at Cumberland Farms indicate it is the real estate
company Metro group
we should be talking to. It is my opinion that a real estate company can
negotiate with the community and city better than an engineering company
can.
Finally, I would like to propose that the city host a special town hall
meeting on
this matter where all members of our community both for and against can
express their views on this matter in the spirit of a hometown
democracy.
Please let me know if this is doable.

Lucas with Atkins Engineering. His office number is 321-775-6647.
The folks we have been working with from the Cape Shore
