Subject: Cultural Resource Management Contact Info
Gustavo,
Florida Public Archaeology Network is the group that should be contacted
to begin the discussion of any archaeological excavations or cultural
resource management here in the city. If they happen to encounter
something out of their realm, though hard to imagine, they can point you
in the right direction.
Mr. Osbourne's intentions may or may not be in the best interests of the
City & it’s very finite supply of cultural resources. Either way, his
professional status in the field of archaeology is undocumented and the
accuracy of his 'published' history works are questionable at best. The
gentleman that contacted me with concerns about Mr. Osbourne’s
intentions to "excavate" the site at 260 Cape Shores Circle is Mr. Kevin
Gidusko. He is one of the coordinators for the East Central region of
FPAN, Ms. Sarah Miller is the regional director. Let them know the
situation and that I directed you to them.
