The Code Enforcement Board meetings are held on Thursdays the same week as the City Council meetings. City Council meetings are held the (3rd) third Tuesday of every month. A Certified or Cashier’s check in the amount of $100.00, as a processing fee, must be submitted with the application for the reduction or satisfaction of the lien. If you are not the current property owner you must submit a notarized statement, attached to the application, authorizing you to represent the property at the Code Enforcement Hearing and the City Council meeting. Once our office has received the payment and application, it will be scheduled to be heard at the next available meeting date. A representative must be present at the hearing. All Code Enforcement Board meetings are held at 6:00 p.m., at the City of Cape Canaveral Library, 201 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. The Code Enforcement Board will make a recommendation to the City Council. The recommendation will be forwarded to the City Clerk to be placed on the agenda for the next available City Council meeting date. This is usually the following month, on the (3rd) third Tuesday, at 6:00 p.m. at the City of Cape Canaveral Library, 201 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. I strongly recommend you be present at this hearing.
