A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE GARBAGE
AND RUBBISH COLLECTION AGREEMENT
WITH WESTERN WASTE INDUSTRIES, INC.;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cape
Canaveral, Brevard County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. In conformance with Section 2 of the Garbage and
Rubbish Collection Agreement with Western Waste Industries, Inc.,
which was approved on February 19, 1985, by the adoption of
Resolution No. 85 -9, said agreement is hereby extended for a one
(1) year period.
SECTION 2. That discussion begin within the next 30 days to
negotiate a long term conract for garbage and rubbish collection.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, this 18th day of April ' 1989,
