HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1988-28 MICROFILMED JUNE 89 RESOLUTION NO. 88-28 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RECRE- ATION DIRECTOR TO CHANGE COURT RENTAL FEES BY AUTHORIZING "DISCOUNT PUNCH CARDS" AND BY INITIATING RATE CHANGES TO PROMOTE RECREATION COMPLEX USEAGE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS , the Cape Canaveral Recreation Complex is a valuable asset to the City; and WHEREAS , the City desires to maintain the quality of the Recreation Complex amenities and to increase their use by the citizens of the City; and Or WHEREAS , the City recognizes the need to promote the facilities available at the Recreation Complex on order to increase their usage; and WHEREAS , the City is willing to pursue innovative promotional techniques to achieve these goals; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1 . The Recreation Director is hereby authorized to initiate "Discount Punch Cards" for racquetball court useage and tennis court usage. SECTION 2 . The Recreation Director may, with the approval of the City Manager, adjust and change the court rental fees from time-to-time as may be desired to promote increased use of the Recreation Complex. SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
