A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE CANAVERAL WAS HELD ON AUGUST 21, 1975 AT CITY.HALL,
105.POLK AVENUE, CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA AT 8:05 P.M.
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY. MAYOR FRANKLYN P.
MACLAY.
THE ROLL WAS CALLED BY THE CITY CLERK. OFFICIALS
PRESENT WERE: MAYOR.FRANKLYN P. MACLAY, COUNCILMEN L.C. NICHOLAS,

COUNCIL CONTINUED.REVIEWING PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE
NEW COMPREHENSIVE ZONING''ORDINANCE BEGINNING WITH PAGE 14.6.
VARIOUS CHANGES WERE MADE THRU PAGE 185 (ITEMIZED LIST ATTACHED).

MR. RHAME.MOVED TO CHANGE THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO PAGE 160
BY CHANGING THE WORD "DISPOSAL" TO "COLLECTION ". MR. NICHOLAS
SECONDED MOTION. - MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
MR. NICHOLAS MOVED TO DELETE THE ENTIRE CHAPTER 641.01 THRU
64 1.67, RENUMBER 641.69 TO 641.03 AND TO USE 641.01 AS A CROSS-
REFERENCE TO EACH ZONING DISTRICT. MR. RHAME SECONDED THE MOTION.
.MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
AT 11:12 B.M. BY MOTION OF MAYOR MACLAY, SECONDED BY
MR. NICHOLAS, THIS ITEM WAS CONTINUED TO TUESDAY,. AUGUST 26 AND THE
MEETING ADJOURNED.

Any boat moored or parked within-.one hundred
feet of the shoreline within the City limits
of Cape Canaveral, shall not be used as .a
residence for a period exceeding fifteen (15)
days- unless certification is given to the
Building Official that any discharge from said
boat met required applicable federal pollution
regulations.
Paragraph B To read: Construction trailers
located on a construction site may be used as
an office and /or a work trailer.' Use of these
trailers as living quarters is expressly
prohibited. 'In each case�and.for every trailer,
temporary permits shall be required.
The temporary permits shall be limited to ninety
(90) days with ninety (90) day extensions per-
mitted subject to the need thereof as determined
by the Building Official. No temporary trailer
.permits shall be issued prior . to issuance of
construction permit /s.
On Page 7 of the proposed amendments under
-639,71 change.. °disposal" to "collection"

shall not issue certificates of occupancy for
individual dwelling units, individual buildings
or for the complete project, until All utilities
have been accepted by the-applicable authority
-for.those-portions-of the project for-which the
certificates of occupancy are issued (To be

also nuinber to be inserted in the index)
Between lines 20 and 21 insert to read: The
Building Official shall issue a o;ertificate of j
completion indicating acceptance of public
improvements for the commencement of the
warranty period.
