BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
February 2, 1971
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Cape Canaveral
met on February 2, 1971 at the City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue, Cape
Canaveral, Florida at 9:55 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Leo Nicholas.
The roll was called by the City Clerk. Officials present
were Mayor Nicholas; Councilmen George Firkins, E. H. Rhame, G. J.
Salvaggio and Richard Thurm; City Manager A. J. Francis; Assistant
City Attorney Richard Scott; City Clerk Anita Ostrom and Sgt. at
Arms Willard Winnett.
The minutes of the meeting of January 19, 1971 were
approved as read by the Clerk.
Item 1. Request for 4 -COP Alcoholic Beverage License
(Earnestine Wilson)
Mayor Nicholas read the request and supporting information
as required; also the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Board.
Letters were read from interested parties, both for and against the
request. The applicant, Mrs. Wilson, and the property owner, Mr.
Moore, were in attendance. Mr. Salvaggio moved to approve the request,
Mayor Nicholas seconded and the motion carried by unanimous voter
By motion of Mr. Rhame, seconded by Mr. Salvaggio the
meeting was adjourned at 9:12 P.M.
