The Board of Adjustment of the City of Cape Canaveral
met on December 15, 1970 at the City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue,
Cape Canaveral, Florida at 9:06 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Leo Nicholas.
The roll was called by the City Clerk. Officials present
were Mayor Nicholas; Councilman George Firkins, E.H. Rhame,
G. J. Salvaggio and Richard Thurm; City Manager A. J. Francis,
City Attorney Stanley Wolfman; City Clerk Anita Ostrom and Sgt.
at Arms Willard Winnett.
The minutes of the meeting of December 1, 1970 were read
by the Clerk. A correction was noted by Mayor Nicholas who stated
that the Mill Factors request was approved subject to stipulations
set out by the Planning & Zoning Board. The minutes were approved
as corrected.
Item 1. Request for Conditional use - Ralph Hatcher,
Communicable, Inc.
The petition was reviewed and the recommendation of the
Planning & Zoning Board was read by Mayor Nicholas.
Mr. Thurm moved to table this item until the next regular
meeting for further discussion with the petitioners. Mr. Salvaggio
seconded the motion. Those in favor were Mr. Thurm, Mr. Salvaggio,
Mr. Rhame and Mr. Firkins. Mr. Nicholas was opposed. The motion
carried and the item was tabled.
By motion of Mr. Salvaggio, seconded by Mr. Firkins, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
