BARD OF ADJUSTMENT
February 17, 1970
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Cape Canaveral met on
February 17, 1970 at the City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral, Florida
at 8:16 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Richard R. Therm.
The roll was called by the City Clerk. Officials present were
Mayor Richard R. Thum; Councilmen Charles Berkebile, Leo Nicholas and
G. J. Salvaggio; City Manager A. J. Francis; City Attorney Stanley Wolfman;
City Clerk Anita Ostrom and Sgt. at Arms Chief Willard Winnett.
The minutes of the meeting of February 3, 1970 were approved as read.
Item 1. Conditional Use request for Paint & Body Shop - Praetorius.
Mayor Therm read the petition, the recommendation of the Planning $
Zoning Department and a letter from Mr. 0. D. Peavy, Director of the Brevard
County Building $ Zoning Department. A change was made in the legal description
of the property to read the West 70 feet of the area 90' x 1751. Mr. Nicholas
moved to approve the application, Mr. Salvaggio seconded and the motion carried
by unanimous vote of the Board.
Item 2. On premises consumption of Alcoholic Beverages - Albert r M.
raetorius
Mayor Thum read the application and supporting information. Change
was made in the legal description to read the East 105' of the area 90' x 1751.
By motion of Mr. Salvaggio, seconded by Mr. Berkebile and agreed unanimously, the
application was approved.
On a motion by Mr. Salvaggio, seconded by Mr. Nicholas and unanimous
vote, the meeting was adjourned at 9 :07 P.M.
