The "Board of Adjustment of the City of Cape Canaveral met,
on February 18, 1969 at the City Mall, 105 Polk Avenue, Cape Canaveral,
I.
Florida at 8:21 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Richard R. Thurm.
The roll was called by the City Clerk. Officials present were
Mayor Richard R. Thurm; Councilmen Frank Hoog,, Leo Nicholas; City Admin-
istrator A. J. Francis;*City Attorney Stanley Wolfman; City Clerk Anita
Ostrom and Sgt. at Arms Willard Winnett.
Item 1. Service Station request - Surfside 11, Inc.
Mayor Thurm reviewed the petition and the recommendation of
the Zoning $ Planning Board. Mr. Nicholas made a motion to deny the request?
as recommended by the Board,on the basis of their reasons for denial. Mr. Hoog

seconded the motion and it parried by unanimous vote.
Item 2. .Request for On and Off Premises sale of Beer &Wine -Wm. Baker.
Mayor Thurm read the Petition and the recommendation of the Zoning
and Planning Board. Mr. Moog made a motion to approve this request subject
to receipt of letter of approval, from the landlord and subject to the Hotel
& Restaurant Commission being made miare of the intent to serve food. Air.
Nicholas seconded the motion and it carried by unanimous vote.
On a motion by Mr. Hoog, seconded by Mr. Nicholas and agreed unanimously
the meeting was adjourned at 9:20 P.M.
