"1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Richard R. Thurm. The roll was called by the City Clerk. Officials present were Mayor Richard R. Thurm; Councilmen Frank Hoog, Leo Nicholas, r G. J. Salvaggio; City Administrator A. J. Francis; City Attornev Stanley IVolfman; City Clerk Anita Ostrom and Sgt. at Arms Tom Strang. The minutes of the Regular meeting of October 1, 1968, and the minutes of the Board of Adjustment meeting nl October 1, 1968, were read by the Clerk and approved as read. The Treasury Report for September 1968 was approved as submitted. OLD BUSINESS: Item 1. Salvaggio made a motion to approve second reading. Mr. Nicholas seconded the motion, and the Ordinance was adopted by unanimous vote of the Council. Salvaggio made a motion to adopt the Resolution. Mr. Hoog seconded and by unanimous vote the itesolutinn was ;adopted appointing "ir. John 11. "icssner and "ir. Charles J. Ahel� Jr. as new mcmhers. Pair. Salvaggio made the motion to approve first reading. The motion was seconded by Mr. Nicholas and carried by unanimous vote. Item 3. Resolution 68 -36 - Adopting T.vc Roll and setting %llage. `iayor Thurm read the Resolution entitled "A RESOUITION ADOPTING 1968 -1969 VALUATION OF PROPERTIES, FOR PURPOSE, OF 51'OR "1 DRAINAGY AD VALORUM TAXATION; SETTING AND PRESCRIBING RATF. OF AD VALOR01 TAXATION IN SUPPORT OF 111E STOW DRAINAGE PROGRMI; PROVIDING AN EFFECHAM DATE." Mr. Salvaggio made a motion to adopt the Resolution, ?Ir. Hong seconded and the motion carried by unanimous vote. Item 4. Appointment of Substitute Judge for Burns .case. Mr. Nicholas made a motion to appoint Attorney Walter Shepard of Rockledge, Florida as substitute .Judge for this case. '.fr. Hoog seconded and the motion carried by unanimous vote of the Council.
