HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-18-1968 Board of Adjustment Meetingr BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT June 18, 1968 A meeting of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida was held on June 18, 1968 at the City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue, at 9:26 P.M. Thurm. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Richard R. The roll was called by the City Clerk. Officials present were Mayor Richard R. Thurm; Councilmen Frank Hoog, Leo Nicholas, Martin Schrider; City Administrator Albert J. Francis; City Attorney'Stanley Wolfman; City Clerk Anita Ostrom and Sgt. at Arms Police Chief Willard Winnett. Item 1. On premises Alcoholic Beverages - Don Clayton. Mayor Thurm read the request and supporting information from the Zoning Board. He then called a recess at 9 :55 P.M. The meeting reconvened at 10 :15 P.M. Mr. Hoog made a motion to approve the request in the name of Preston Olivit, Lessee; subject to a signed lease being furnished the City for approval by the City Attorney and subject to State approval for a 2 COP license., for use at 116 Jackson Avenue. Mr. Schrider seconded the motion and it carried by unanimous vote. On a motion by Mr. Schrider, seconded by Mr. Hoog and unanimous vote, the meeting was adjourned at 10 :25 P.M. APPROVED this day of 1968.
