meeting of
May 21, 1968
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Cape
Canaveral-met on Mayu21, 1968 at the City Mall, 10S Polk
Avenue, Cape Canaveral,•Florida at 8:OS P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro-tem
Frank Hoog.
The roll was called by the City Clerk. Piresent
were Mayor Pro -tem Frank Hoog; Councilmen Vincent Lindemann,
G. J. Salvaggio, Martin Schrider; City Administrator A. J.
Francis; City Attorney Stanley Wolfman; City Clerk Anita Ostrom,
and Sgt. at Arms Al Praetorius.

Mr. Lindemann made a motion to take this item from the
table. Mrs.Srhrider.seconded the motion and it carried by unanimous
vote.
In attendance on behalf of the applicant were the
following: Stan Koller, Realtor; J. Gentry, St. Johns Realty;
Bill Lacer of Union Oil Company Florida office; Harry Vetter of
Union Oil Company Atlanta office; and Mr. DeKalb. After presenting
their reasons for the request, h motion was made by Mr. Schrider
and seconded by Mr. Salvaggio for a five minute recess.
The meeting reconvened at 8 :20 p.m. The Board requested
that the applicant. revise his plot plans, td.i.nclude -the following:
on the Longpoint Road side starting at the property line,in front
and extending back 25 feet there will be a 611 curbing with shrubs;
from that point on back along Longpoint Road there will be a 4 foot
high concrete wall painted white; shrubs to be planted along the
residential side; and no lights will be directed toward Longpoint
Road. The applicant agreed that they would meet these requirements.
Mr. Lindemann made a motion to approve do naXn1b Servica
Station request providing they were willing to meet the City specifications
as to the wall and beautification and maintain same. Mr. Salvaggio
seconded the motion and the request was approved by unanimous vote of

On a motion by Mr. Salvaggio, seconded by Mr. Lindemann,
and agreto unanimously, the meeting was adjourned at 8:32 P.M.
