SPDCIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL
December 22 ,1967
The City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida
met in a Special session on December 22, 1967 at the City Hall,
105 Polk Avenue, at 5:00 p.m. .
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Richard R. Thurm.
Present were Mayor Richard R. Thurm, Councilmen Frank M. Hoog, G. J.
Salvaggio and Martin F. Schrider; City Manager -Clerk Joseph A. Rickards,
City Attorney T. David Burns. Councilman Vincent Lindemann was absent.
Item 1. Awarding Bid - Traffic Light, Highway AIA and Center Street.'
Mayor Thum read the bids submitted as follows:
Interstate Engineering & Equipment Co.,Ipc. - no bid submitted
due to their work load.
Florida Traffic Signals, Inc. - $ 6,649.00.
Dixon Electric Company, Inc. - $ 52654.00.
Mr. Salvaggio -. made a motion to award the bid to the low bidder, Dixon
Electric Company, Inc., Mr. Hoog seconded the motion and it passed
unanimously.
There being no other business before the Council, Mr. Salvaggio

made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Marti seconded the nation and by unanimous
vote the meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
