REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
March 7, 1967
The City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida met
in Regular Session at the City Hall, 105 Polk Avenue on the 7th
day of March, 1967 at 7:33 P.M.
The Meeting was called to Order'..by Mayor Thurm and the roll was
called by the Deputy Clerk. Officialm, present were Mayor Richard
Thurm, Councilmen Frank Hoog, Paul Knittel, Vincent Lindemann and

G. J. Salvaggio; City Manager, Joseph A. Rickards; City Attorney,
T. David Burns; Deputy City Clerk, Anita J. Ostrom and Sgt. at Arms,
James F. Criss.
The Minutas of the Regular Council Meeting of February 21, 1967
were read and corrected as follows: Line 20, page 4 - Salvaggio
inserted in place of Lindemann. The minutes were approved as corrected
on a Motion by Mr. Salvaggio, seconded by Mr. Lindemann and a unanimous
vote of the Council.
The Minutues of the Special Council Meeting of February 27, 1967
were read and approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS:
Item 1. Applegate Request - Car Wash.
After discussion as tb the type of equipment, a Motion was made
by Mr. ` Knittel to approve the request. The Motion was seconded by
Mr. Salvaggio. Mr. Lindemann and Mr. Hoog voted against, Mr. Knittel
and Mr. Salvaggio for the Motion. The Chair voted in favor and the
Motion carried.
Mayor Thurm called a recess at 8 :10 P.M:
The Meeting reconvened at 8:30 P.M.
NEW BUSINESS:
Item 1. Appointment of City Clerk.
Mayor Thurm read a Resolution appointing Mr. Joseph A. Rickards
as City Clerk. Mr. Salvaggio made a Motion to adopt the Resolution.
The Motion was seconded by Mr. Lindemann and carried unanimously.
A discussion period was held.
On a Motion by Mr. Knittel, seconded by Mr. Salvaggio and agreed
unanimously, the Meeting was adjourned at 8:53 P.M.
