RESOLUTION NO. 84 -46
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES
FOR CITY FUNDS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Article XVII, Section 8 of the City Code
requires official depositories for City funds be established
by Resolution, and
WHEREAS, the following listed local financial institutions
are all eligible to be official depositories.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. The following banks shall be considered
official depositories for City funds.
1. First Bankers of Florida, N.A.

2. First American Bank & Trust
82 North Atlantic Avenue
Cocoa Beach, FL 32931
3. Duval Federal Savings
7510 North Atlantic Avenue

5. The Sun Bank

SECTION 2. This Resolution shall in no way alter the
requirement as to designated depository as required by prior
bond validations.
SECTION 3. The procedure for disbursement of funds shall,
at all times, be in conformance with the City Code.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida; this 18th day of September 1984.
