The City. Council -of the City of Cape Canaveral matin Special
Meeting at 190 Jackson Ave. the Uity Ha11 Annex.
Officials present were Mayor Richard R. lhurm, Councilwoman -
Francis Jamieson, Councilmen - Mm., Eberwein, .hack Hurck,-Eugene Jandreau,
City Manager - J. D. Radgett, itity Attorney T. David Burne, City Clerk -
Donna J. Anderson, Sergeant-At-F.rms - L. W. Nichols.
Item 1. Request for Rezonin¢
Mayor Thum -read the recoucnendations of the Zoning Board denying,'
the request for rezoning and a letter from adjacent property owners objecting
to the request. Mr. Jandreau made a Motion that approval of the 2nd and
Final Reading of an "ORDINANCE OF 'DIE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. al -64 TO REZOIS A PARTICULAR PARCEL OF LAND FROM
R-4 CLASSIFICATION TO C-1'CWSIFICATION, CAUSING ZONING MAP TO CONFORM
TO THE AMENDMENT: PROVIDING All EFFECTI'JE DATE." be denied. Mr. Eberwein
seconded the Motion and it carried unanimously.
Item '2. Authorization for a Contract with the City Attorney in Regard to
Bond Validation.
Mayor Thurm read a Resolutich "A R?SOLG.'ION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT
WlrH CITY ATTORNEY FOR VALIDATION OF SANITARY SEIER REVENUE CERT11FICATES:
PROVIDING AN EFFECTTJE LATE.", On a Notion by Mrs. Jamieson, seconded by
Mr. Hurek and carried unanimously, the Reeolution was adopted.
Item 3. Bulkhead Line
After diecusaion, MA. Jamieson made a Motion to establish a
M.khegd Line off -shore from existing lands bordering on the Banana River
from the Southern to the Northern most territorial limits of the City of
Cape Canaveral, Florida and authorizing and directing the'resident City
Engineer to locate the said bulkhead line including therein proposed roads
and drainage facilities and dedications for public purposes and to meet
with the Planning and Zoning Board at their Regular, Meeting of February
I.8th, 1965, and further to direct the City Attorney to properly describe.-,
said line in Resolution -tim for further Councilconsideration at the Zirat
Regular Council Meeting in March 19659 Mr. Hurck seconded the Motion and
It carried with Mrs. Jamieson and Mr. Hurkk voting:in favor, Mr. Eberwein
and Mr. Jandreau opposing and Mayor Mm m voting in favor, thereby breaking
the tie.
There being no other business before the Council, the Meeting was
adjourned on a Motion by Mr. Jandreau, seconded by Mr. Eborwain and carried
