ORDINANCE NO. 18 -88
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 205,
PURCHASING PROCEDURES, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE
CANAVERAL, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA;
REPEALING THE CHAPTER IN ITS ENTIRETY
AND REPLACING WITH A NEW CHAPTER;
ADOPTING A PURCHASING PROCEDURE
MANUAL; REPEALING ALL PORTIONS OF THE
CODE IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Cape
Canaveral, Brevard County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 205 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2. The amended Chapter 205, Purchasing Procedures,
is hereby adopted and incorporated into the Code of Ordinances
as Chapter 205. A copy of the Purchasing Procedures is on file
in the office of the City Clerk and made a part of this Ordinance
by reference.
SECTION 3. All portions of the Code in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, this 6th day of December
