Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance No. 30-1985MICROFILMED AUG 87 ORDINANCE NO. 30 -85 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 630, ZONING REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, BY AMENDING SEC. 637.51 "SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS PERMISSIBLE BY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT" BY INCLUDING A NEW SPECIAL EXCEPTION SECTION ENTITLED COMMERCIAL STORAGE AND PARKING OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES; REPEALING ALL PORTIONS OF THE CODE IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 637.51 of the zoning code is hereby amended by the addition of Sec. 637.51 (M) as follows: *Sec. 637.51(M) Commercial establishments for the storage or parking of recreational vehicles, trailers and trailerable items, providing it meets the following requirements as a minimum: 1. Minimum lot size of 10,000 square feet. 2. Vehicle storage area must be obscured from view by either walls, fences, or hedges. 3. Walls, fences, and hedges must comply with all City rules and regulations and must be kept in good condition so as to ensure obstruction from view. SECTION 2. All portions of the Code in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
