HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 26-1975MICROFILMED 8.14 -80 ORDINANCE NO. 26 -75 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5 -74 AS AMENDED, BY PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE SCHEDULE OF RENTAL RATES FOR MECHANICAL GARBAGE CONTAINERS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 9 -18 BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 5 -74 as amended, pertaining to garbage and trash collection, is hereby amended as follows: Section 2. (d) entitled "Schedule of Mechanical Container Rental Rates" is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following substituted there- for: "Section 2. (d) Schedule of Mechanical Container Rental Rates': The following rental fees shall be charged by the City to the user as provided in Section 2 hereof, in accordance with the following schedule: 2 cu. yd. container 3 cu. yd. container 4 cu. yd. container 6 cu. yd. container 8 cu. yd. container $12.21 per month 14.65 per month 17.09 per month 19.54 per month 23.20 per month. The rental fees set forth in this schedule are based upon the rental fee as charged by the Collector to the City for said containers. These rental fees are subject to a change in accordance with the provisions of the contract between the Collector and the City. All rental fees as provided herein to be paid by the users shall be payable in advance." SECTION 2. The payment of monthly rental fees for mechanical containers as provided in Section 1 hereof shall commence on December 1, 1975. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. SECTION 4.
