HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 17-1974MICROFILMED 3.14-80 ORDINANCE NO. 17 -74 AMENDED 5/7/74 AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO CONSUME NOR TO HAVE IN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE OPEN POSSESSION CAPE CANAVERAL LITTLE LEAGUE /SENIOR LEAGUE BALL PARK, A/K /A THE CAPE CANAVERAL RECREATION- AL FACILITY; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVID- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL AS FOLLOWS: AMENDED SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to consumeittny , 5/7/74 {OR TO HAVE IN HIS OPEN alcoholic beverage, as defined by Chapter 562 Florida Statutes, within POSSESSION the confines of the Cape Canaveral Little League /Senior League Ball Park, a/k /a The Cape Canaveral Recreational Facility, and more fully described as that certain recreational area bounded on the North by Monroe Avenue, on the East by Magnolia Avenue, on the South by Harrison Avenue and on the West by Orange Avenue, within the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida. SECTION 2. Any person who violates this Ordinance and is con- victed of said violation in a court of competent jurisdiction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $100.00 or imprisonment not to exceed 10 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral.
