ORDINANCE NO. 3 -74
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3 -72 WHICH
ORDINANCE ADOPTED THE SOUTHERN STANDARD BUILD-
ING CODE FOR THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL BY
ESTABLISHING CERTAIN CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE
BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY EXTEND BUILDING PERMITS;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3 -72 is hereby
amended by the addition of the following paragraph:
"(10) Section 106.3 Southern Standard Building Code is
hereby amended by adding the following:
'No extension of time of a permit shall be granted by the
Building Official until:
(1) Thirty days prior to expiration of the permit
(2) The applicant for said permit has complied with all
of the applicable zoning regulations, building
requirements and other C&ty, County, State or
Federal regulations pertinent to said permit, effec-
tive on the date said extension is requested, have
been complied with by the applicant.
(3) The applicant has paid or made arrangements to pay
all fees and charges then applicable to the permit
in effect on the date said extension is requested."
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective
March 12, 1974 upon its adoption by the City Council of the City
of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
