A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, BREVARD COUNTY,
FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER
INTO A STATEWIDE MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT, MODIFICATION #1 WITH
THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, FOR
CATASTROPHIC DISASTER RESPONSE AND RECOVERY; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Brevard County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Statewide Mutual
Aid Agreement, Modification #1 with the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management, for
catastrophic disaster response and recovery for one a (1) year period from the date hereof; said agreement
to be automatically renewed in successive one (1) year terms unless terminated in writing by the City of
Cape Canaveral; a copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, this 17th day of
October , 1995.
