CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Cape Canaveral Library Board was held Tuesday, NOV 8, 2005, and called to order at 2:00 PM by Library Board Chairman, Tim Grady The following members were present: • Jim Brown, Library Board Vice Chairman • Joanna Atwood, Secretary • June Bell, Library Board Member • Jean Deck, Library Board Member • Mary Ernst, Library Board Member • Harry Pearson, Library Board Member • Isabel Matos - Escapa, Library Director • Marianne EIIis, Recording Secretary A. Approval of minutes Joanna Atwood made a motion to approve the November 8, 2005 minutes. Tim Grady seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously as approved and accepted. B. Correspondence There was no Correspondence to report. C. Director's Report All members present received a Monthly Report of Library Activities, a copy of October & November 2005 Cape Canaveral Public Library Activity Calendars, and a Library Board Meeting Schedule for 2006. Cape Canaveral Public Library Director, Isabel Matos - Escapa, reported that Ellery Cason, Library Page, has been promoted to Library Aide at the Titusville Public. II PERSONAL APPEARANCES There were no personal appearances. ID UNFINISHED BUSINESS IV NEW BUSINESS — Joanna Atwood reported plans for Book Sale were moving along. We will have help from the City Cape Canaveral. Joanna also reports that she attended the workshop and this is time to ask for funds because budget is coming up. Joanna also reported that they are trying to get Grants for Big Print Books which Walmart will match. V. ANNOUNCEMENTS A. The next Cape Canaveral Public Library Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cape Canaveral Public Library Conference Room. B.
