Vice Chaiman, Bob Gorman called the meeting to order at 5 06
It was moved by John Datillo and seconded by Billy Specht and approved by those
present to accept the minutes of the September 9th
The Director presented her reports.

Billy Specht made the motion that those in office serve another term John Datillo
seconded The motion carried
At Billy Specht's request Nancy Hanson at the next flublorks staff meeting will
ask who is in charge of maintaining the landscaped areas at the crossovers She will
report her findings at the next

At 5 37 Director Nancy Hanson escorted the board members on a Cape Canaveral Parks tour
The parks visited were as follows

Recreation Complex
Veteran Memorial Park
Canaveral City Park

Commmoved that the meeting be adjourned The motion was seconded by Billy

Chairman John Datillo, called the meeting to order at 5 05pm
It was moved and accepted to accept the minutes of the January
meeting as presented
Director presented her reports, Special mention of three grants we
are working on
There was some discussion on a pog Park No conclusion was reached
Dedication of Manatee Park will b'e April 26 27 or 29
Trash Bash is April 20
Probable date for Volunteer dinner is May 18, at the Radisson
June 10, Wednesday is Friends Day
John Datillo moved to adjourn all in favor

Chairman Harvey Renshaw called the meeting to order at 5 04

Bob Gorham moved that the minutes of the December 3 2001 meeting be approved as written,
John Datillo seconded the motion, and upon vote all members present unanimously passed the
motion
Board members had no questions on the FY20002 Recreation Department Budget to date
Nancy Hanson reviewed items from her last Quarterly Report Under the FRDAP Grant Update
Nancy reported that Manatee Park was open and there is a $150 000 00 grant
for restrooms and a picnic pavilion Eight sets of bleachers and scoreboards are in place on the
ball fields After Board Member discussion on these subjects, the Chairman determined no
recordble ideas, comments or motions were made
Under Unfinished Business, Chairman Renshaw and the Board decided to table further discussion
on the ITTF property rented from Port Canaveral until accessibility is determined Also under
Unfinished Business the Board tabled a request for tree planting, shade changes and water
provision around the City Tennis Court Complex until the requesting group s research on costs
and specific needs was submitted
Under New Business, Nancy Hanson announced that the Patriot s Day Parade would take place on
March 9th The Navy Band will not be able to perform Also under New Business, Knten
Wenberg, Kim Hayes, Tamara Finch and run Hayes provided the Board Members with valuable
information on dog parks and made a request for the estabhshment of one They will provide the
Board Members with a hst of specific needs and wants Nancy Hanson will research mfonnation
on dog parks and report to the Board
