PUBLIC NOTICE
HELICOPTER DEMONSTRATION FLIGHT
Mark Grainger of Florida Biplanes and Helicopters is seeking
approval to operate a helicopter tour business in the City of Cape
Canaveral. He will conduct a helicopter demonstration flight on
Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 2pm that will include takeoffs and
landings from two adjacent properties: 1) a vacant parcel at the
northeast corner of SR AlA and Imperial Boulevard (between the
AJT Building and the Sheldon Cove Building) and 2) the Florida
Beer Company property. The helicopter will also fly a typical
sightseeing route. The purpose is to give a "real time"
demonstration of what the proposed operation would look and
sound like.
Please take notice this is not an official meeting of the Cape
Canaveral City Council or any City Advisory
Board/Committee. Notice is being provided to meet the spirit of
the Sunshine Law to inform the public that Elected Officials and
Advisory Board/Committee members will be present at this
event. No action will be taken.
