A RESOLUTION APPOINTINO A CITY CLERK;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Cape
Canaveral, Florida, provides that the City Council shall,
by appointment, fill all vacancies occurring in the offices
provided in the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, there now exists a vacancy in the office
of City Clerk; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Joseph A. RicY.ards is hereby
appointed to serve as City Clerk and is hereby authorized
and directed to undertake and perform the duties and re-
sponsibilities of said office. The said City Clerk shall
serve at the pleasure of the Council.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Cape
Canaveral, Florida, this 7th day of March, 1960.
