RESOLUTION NO. 67_24
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE CITY
LIBRARY BOARD; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS there is established by general laws of the
State of Florida authority for the creation of a municipal
Library Board, and
WHEREAS Ordinance #11 -66 of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, implements the said general law and provides specifi-
cally for the creation of the City of Cape Canaveral Library
Board, and
WHEREAS there now exists vacancies on the said Board,
Now, Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Mrs. Ray uyce be and she is hereby
appointed as a member of the City Library Board of the City
of Caps Canaveral, Florida, for the term expiring on the loth
day of May , 196Q; and that Mrs. Irene Strider
be and she is hereby appointed as a member of the City Library
Board of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, for the term
expiring on the �: day of \� , 1961?.
Section 2. The said appointees are hereby duly directed
and authorized to undertake and perform their respective duties
and responsibilities as prescribed in Ordinance x/11 -66 of
this City and in the general laws of this State.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immed-
iately upon its adoption.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL,
FLORIDA, ON THIS, THE 16TIi DAY OF MAY, A.D., 1967.
